Lemme stand next to your fi … oh
Been grafting at the new house today. Got all the fitted cupboards ripped
out and most of the carpets up. The surveyor wasn’t lying when he said the
master bedroom floor had a ‘heavy infestation’ of woodworm, it’s absolutely
riddled!
Also got the fire and ancient corner cabinet knocked out in the lounge.
Taking the fire out has left quite a mess, I think there has been a bigger
fire in at some point and then someone has put that blank back in and the
art deco surround at a later date.
Consequently there’s now a blanking thing with basically a load of loose
rubble around it. It’s stable enough I think, haven’t touched any lintles! I’m going to let the builders finish it off now though, I think it just wants bricking
up:
