Update - genealogy map
I have recently made a spatial genealogy map using the Google Maps API. Having put the finishing touches to it I’ve now written up the project, code and results are available to view here.

I have changed all the code styling on the computing pages to use a fancy Javascript code highlighter as it all looked a bit shit before. Try as I might, I can not make it work in IE.
I have also added another program to the C# AD Tutorials (which from the stats has become the second most popular page on the site!) showing how to completely add a new user.
I’ve been messing about with the underlying wensite structure and have finally given in and made it work via a load of PHP functions (I hope Ryan doesn’t read this…).
I’ve also fiddled about with the style sheet and given the site a bit more texture, looks nicer now I think. Big new section coming soon…
I’ve been off work and stuck in the house so I’ve revamped the photos section of the website. I’ve made a new categorised landing page for the photos, removed a couple of old galleries and added several new galleries including some generic onces where I can add single photos if I want to. I’ve also completely replaced all of the knives photos with new ones taken in my Blue Peter light tent and also added several new knives.
Newly re-vamped Old Photos of Garforth section is now done with all new content and better quality pics!
Made a couple of changes to the domain-on-DDNS tutorial page, the setup as described wasn’t working properly due to permissions on the no-ip config file and also the zone reload method. Should work now, I hope nobody had a go at it yet…
Uploaded new ‘cherry’ style to replace the aging desert one! I wanted to do something more graphic-designy but, basically, I don’t know anything about graphic design. So, the central point is another photograph, or rather a silly triptych (which I did take).
Added a large tutorial on managing a domain using DDNS to computing section.
Site is ready for a new design, if only I was better at graphic design…
Added new Garforth Kenpo design to website portfolio.
