To Russia, with love…
I’ve spent all day Today taking the photos for the knife magazine that I talked about the other day, I think they’ve come out quite nicely!
I’ve sent them off to Russia and hopefully I will be sent a copy of the magazine once it comes out so I’ll be able to see them in print.
I did six altogether, these are the four main ones:
Big update!
Newly re-vamped Old Photos of Garforth section is now done with all new content and better quality pics!
Corrections
Made a couple of changes to the domain-on-DDNS tutorial page, the setup as described wasn’t working properly due to permissions on the no-ip config file and also the zone reload method. Should work now, I hope nobody had a go at it yet…
Annie Bowerman
I’ve been off work today (first of three long weekends to use up my holiday before term ends) and I had told Mum I’d take her out for the day. We were going to go to Malham Tarn for a walk but it’s been pissing it down. All day. Again. So, I asked her where she wanted to go instead and after some deliberating over a cup of tea she went “Pudsey cemetary!”. Yup, time to get back on the family history trail!
Updates
Uploaded new ‘cherry’ style to replace the aging desert one! I wanted to do something more graphic-designy but, basically, I don’t know anything about graphic design. So, the central point is another photograph, or rather a silly triptych (which I did take).
Ubuntu CRON weirdness
Hrm, this is odd! I’ve been trying to work out on and off all week why a scheduled daily backup script won’t run on the new Ubuntu web server.
Updates
Added a large tutorial on managing a domain using DDNS to computing section.
Site is ready for a new design, if only I was better at graphic design…
