Cold Steel Ti-Lite

Cold Steel’s stilleto style Ti-Lite model, made in the image of a 1950s switchblade. This is the cheaper version with the zytel handle as opposed to the forged titanium one.

These knives can be opened in a variety of ways. There is a standard thumb stud which I find a little awkward (it’s partly housed in the handle) and also a trouser catch which is even more awkward!

By far the easiest way to open the knife is to simply press down with the index finger on the exposed part of the hilt and then flick the blade out with the wrist. In this way the knife can be opened very quickly.

When closed the knife also is designed to act as a kubotan/koppo stick style weapon, with the base of the handle being built up for striking with.
